Actress Kalyani Priyadarshan who gained a lot of fame lately for her roles in Telugu movies like Hello has been in the news for a while ago that she would be roped in as a female lead in Venkat Prabhu’s ongoing film Maanadu.
Amidst a lot of speculations, the production house headed by Suresh Kamatchi, which is bankrolling the project, took it to Twitter to confirm the news. He tweeted that the stunning diva has come on board for Venkat Prabhu’s Maanadu starring STR.

Kalyani, the daughter of ace filmmaker Priyadarshan, has recently made her Tamil debut in Sivakarthikeyan‘s Hero. The film, touted to be an action thriller is being directed by PS Mithran of Irumbuthirai fame, which has Arjun Sarja, Vivek , Robo Shankar and Ivana in pivotal roles.
