Growing up there with siblings Molisa and Undine, Galina used to be very active in athletics from an early age. She studied at Mt. Pleasant High School, where she was named the best athlete for three consecutive years after she won several titles and medals for the school team in various track and field events.
After graduating from school she joined the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she continued her athletics career. She graduated from there with a degree in business management and later became a fitness model.
