Vishal Krishna, popularly known as Vishal, is a prominent actor and producer in Kollywood. Best known for his works in Tamil cinema, his films were usually dubbed into his native language Telugu. He is the general secretary of the Nadigar Sangam and also the president of the Tamil Film producer Council. His acting credits include Chellamae, Sandakozhi, Thimiru, Pandiya Naadu, Naan Sigappu Manithan, and Irumbu Thirai, among many others.

Family and Education
Vishal is the son of popular film producer, G. K. Reddy and his wife Janaki Devi. His father has bankrolled a number of films in both Tamil and Telugu languages. He has two siblings, Vikram Krishna, who is also a producer and a younger sister named Aishwarya. Actress and presenter Sriya Reddy is his sister-in-law.
He attended Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Chennai and then studied Visual Communications at Loyola College in Chennai.

Vishal has been in a relationship with actress Anisha Alla for a while now. On January 15, 2019, he broke his silence and revealed on Twitter that he’s dating Anisha Alla. As a child artist, he made his on-screen debut with the 1989 film Jadikketha Moodi as a dancer.

After graduating from Loyola College, Vishal started his career as an assistant director in the 2001 Tamil film Vedham, directed by Arjun Sarja.
A producer discovered him in the sets of the film and signed him for a lead role in his film Chellamae, directed by Gandhi Krishna.
Subsequently, he joined Koothu Pattarai before casting in Chellamae to learn acting. His first commercial success film both at the box office and among the audience was Sandakozhi in 2005.
Vishal established himself as ‘Action Hero’ in Kollywood following the success of the film, which apparently earned him the ‘Puratchi Thalapathy’ title.
