Nadeem Sarwar is a world popular Noha Khwaan from Karachi, Pakistan, who is also a Naat, Manqabat reciter and poet. Sarwar rose to fame in the early 1980s when his Nohas became popular around the world which earned him international recognition and popularity amongst Shia Muslims. His recitation is popular in Asian and Muslim countries wherever Shia or Suni community lives.
Sarwar started reciting Nohan when he was just four along with his mother and from there he has never looked back. He has released several singles during the course of his career and most of them are popular to this date. His recitation comprises Kalaams of renowned poets like Rehan Azmi, Mir Anis, and Mirza Dabeer. His two sons are also famous reciters. His Nohas are usually recited and listed by millions of Muslims during the month of Muharram. His major part of Noha collections is in Urdu but he has also recited in other languages like Sindhi, Sariki, Punjabi, Pushto, Pourbi, Hindi, Gujarati, Persian, Arabic, English, and French.
